it's a straight sword with a half tang and chinese-style decoration...it's a total joke.

not to mention it's made out of stainless steel, which becomes very brittle after about 10 inches.

Machine made swords can be as good as hand forged blades. Of course, it depends on the manufacturer. For example, Albion-swords makes outstanding pieces, but of course, those cost hundreds or several thousands, not 45 bucks.
