Okay someone sent this to my inbox. I'm not really sure why, because my channel is for reviewing movies and videogames. From what I have seen from this video I can't support either side here because they are both too extreme. I will say that the pigeon shooters are in the wrong for assaulting the people of SHARK, however the people of SHARK should think twice about going on to private property and getting into altercations with these pigeon shooters. @AngPur As our photos and videos of shooters' vehicles prove, PA's pigeon shoots are magnets for NRA killers from all over the country. Many of them are nice enough to put NRA stickers on their cars, and/or wear NRA on their hats, vests, etc.
We aren't claiming that all NRA members are this kind of genetic reject. We are saying that the real NRA protects this kind of bloodletting for the few, with the membership dollars of the many who incorrectly imagine the NRA's leaders have principles.

I am a hunter and I think there are only two reasons to shoot a living thing:
1. You're going to eat it.
2. It's going to eat you or someone else.

It was also fairly disingenuous attempting to make that connection between the NRA, the nation's oldest civil rights group, with these guys.

As for the NRA as an organization, it continuously lobbies politicians to stop their support of SB626, the bill which will ban these shoots once and for all. So pigeon shooters and the NRA are joined at the hip.

The live sport shooting of animals is morally incorrect mainly because the animals aren't killed instantly. I eat meat myself and I'd want all the animals that have to die, to die pain free. The same goes for if I had to be killed, I'd want to die without pain and suffering. I don't know why those members are so violent towards ya. @livinglegend1187 We do? I am a hunter, and this in no way represents what we do, and who we are. My family has used hunting as a way of providing food for decades. We kill animals quickly and humanely, and use almost all the parts of the animal. These people are an extreme and should not be compared with most other hunters.
I shoot pidgeons that live in my barn only to protect the general health of my horses because pidgeons can carry some nasty things. I make sure they're dead, and just throw them in the ditch for the coyotes to take care of. But I don't like this at all, and I hunt a lot. :/

I smell an implied logic fallacy. 49 states don't allow these types of shoots, and a good chunk of shooters are NRA members, so it's not so much a type of conspiracy of the group as it's just a normal overlap. I bet you'll find some NHRA members in illegal street racing events too.

@AngPur As our photos and videos of shooters' vehicles prove, PA's pigeon shoots are magnets for NRA killers from all over the country. Many of them are nice enough to put NRA stickers on their cars, and/or wear NRA on their hats, vests, etc.
We aren't claiming that all NRA members are this kind of genetic reject. We are saying that the real NRA protects this kind of bloodletting for the few, with the membership dollars of the many who incorrectly imagine the NRA's leaders have principles.

I am a hunter and I think there are only two reasons to shoot a living thing:
1. You're going to eat it.
2. It's going to eat you or someone else.
Having said that, I also think it's wildly inappropriate to imbue animals with a moral agency as they posses none. Harassing people for engaging in legal, albeit dubious, behavior is disgusting. It was also fairly disingenuous attempting to make that connection between the NRA, the nation's oldest civil rights group, with these guys.

@DiogenesJR Every injured bird is a chargeable count of animal cruelty in PA. Pigeon shooter Leo Holt, as featured in other videos, has been a board member of the NRA. As for the NRA as an organization, it continuously lobbies politicians to stop their support of SB626, the bill which will ban these shoots once and for all. So pigeon shooters and the NRA are joined at the hip.

Certainly preferable to how it would die in the wild. Lets take a realistic stroll down what would happen in the wild. Cats like killing them too typically sneak up on em while they're just chilin bites their backs breaking the spinal cord making their legs useless. So the pigeon is riding in cats mouth without working legs. Cat drops the pigeon to see if it can escape but he never lets that happen. Usually bats it down until its too tired to try anymore then proceeds to rip its limbs off.

The live sport shooting of animals is morally incorrect mainly because the animals aren't killed instantly. I eat meat myself and I'd want all the animals that have to die, to die pain free. The same goes for if I had to be killed, I'd want to die without pain and suffering. I don't know why those members are so violent towards ya. I am an NRA member myself but don't disrespect humans or animals like these people do. I guess there are people who are pure assholes to everyone and everthing

This is attacking the wrong Issue. Filming and agitating the people partaking in this act is not the smartest thing to do. What they're doing is not wrong, it is the LAW itself that is wrong, and the LAW is what should be addressed, not the people.
Videos like this will accomplish nothing, acting as impartially and objectively as possible to point out the problems with this act is what should be done.

@livinglegend1187 We do? I am a hunter, and this in no way represents what we do, and who we are. My family has used hunting as a way of providing food for decades. We kill animals quickly and humanely, and use almost all the parts of the animal. These people are an extreme and should not be compared with most other hunters.

I shoot pidgeons that live in my barn only to protect the general health of my horses because pidgeons can carry some nasty things. I make sure they're dead, and just throw them in the ditch for the coyotes to take care of. But I don't like this at all, and I hunt a lot. :/
