Nice higher notes, bit unsteady but amazing for a boy :D very clear and loud, too. However, some of the words and consonants, especially the low-pitched ones need to be re-enforced and sung a little louder.

Very beautifully done- I love the dramatic expression he has in everything he does. My ten year old son sings this, but he isn't much of an actor! (We actually posted it, but he is very stiff in it.) When does the voice change thing happen anyway? I suppose it's different for everyone.

I'd agree with that- he picked this song one night after 10:00 pm and decided to sing it, even though he'd never really worked on it & we recorded it around midnight (as you can see behind him it is pitch black outside) so yeah- he knows it could have been better, but hey, it's just for Youtube. Just some advice, I had to endure the harshness of a voice teacher so here it goes. He needs to put more support to his voice, its too windy. Also, his vibrato sounds forced. I hope I am not sounding harsh, but if he puts support behind his voice, he will be ace.

Keep working, practice hard, and by all means work on becoming a "triple threat", dance, sing and act! Nehemiah actually had better breathing on "Colors of the Wind," now his voice is changing so he's learning to play guitar and started a youtube show. he takes dance and has done a lot of theatre, (professional & community) commercials, and independent film so he's working on becoming a triple threat. Get a new piano track! The piano rhythm is horrible! Too fancy for a beautiful straight 4/4 ballad as this should be. Poor Nehemiah had to adapt his wonderful voice to that lousy piano arrangement.

As a former "Oliver" myself, well done mate! It's a tricky song to get right and you've got it good.
