  • Lol if there is tom cruise, and scientists,it's gona be a good night.

  • Around 2.35, the speaker uses the word 'infinitive'. This cannot be justified without further qualification, as ordinarily the term 'infinitive' prompts the word 'to' to appear in people's heads, i.e. to go, to wear. A less ambiguous term to use in place of 'infinitive' would be 'base verb.'

  • @flippingo You're right, it is not the infinitive. And I have a question: Is verb in "simple form" another way to call the base verb? or I'm just making up things. Thanks in advance

  • If this is English, doesn't she mean 'Pounds' instead of 'Dollars'. Just wondering. People learning the language might get confused :S

  • ok english is my first language but i must say this is crazy. If someone is "learning" english and could understand all of this then THEY ALREADY KNOW.

  • It isn't the infinitive. It's the base verb. The infinitive is to plus base verb. "I may go to the party."
