I also have just used Cithedrals paint for gamesworkshop and straight on it will work but I have tried the "goop" and like useing the goop first and then paint.
I am doing another Science Fair project, And I need Super High Density foam, Like a long brick. And I am living in South Ontario ( St.Catharines) And I dont see it in Home Hardware or Home depot. I tried Owens except my Dad Said no -_-, Any others you suggest? ( I just need something to finely sand thats roughly same weight as foam, i tried the white stuff, it failed.

Oh, and does paint stick to the foam?

Yes brush on acrylic or latex will. Never use aerosol spray, it reacts with foam and melts it.

Go to where they are building a house and ask for some scraps.
Dollar stores and craft shops sell "florist's foam" usually green colour. Pretty soft stuff though.
Try phoning Castle Building Centres, St. Catharines Building Supplies, and Hamilton Builders Supply and ask them for;
The pink stuff is called - FOAMULAR® rigid foam insulation (made by Owens Corning).
The blue stuff is called - STYROSPAN™ extruded polystyrene insulation (made by DOW).
