This isn't really cooking or a recipe. My mom cooked southern or whatever you want to call it, but we actually ate pretty healthy. Lots of beans, greens of all kinds, lean pork and beef, tons of vegetables and fruit from garden. My dad didn't like a lot of sauces and junk in his food---just the plain stuff with some spices. I don't think a lot of Paula's stuff is really southern cooking. Anyway, this is one killer of a sandwich.
