I think eatting mainly honey and ice cream will send a person into diabetic land. See, Dolphy was poor. (that's what being a jazz musician will do to ya!)...and he ate bad, when he had money he gave it to lesser folks and musicians. His is a sad story. Great musician. Fantastic person and human...but in the end, very unlucky : (

  • What a Great Piece /Thankyou- Favorite thing....Wild not Gone

  • He was a wonderful Genius

  • Eric Dolphy's flute playing is as natural as the flight of a butterfly. Brilliant!

  • My favorite things ! WOAW

    Thanks and all best,

    Brew Lite

  • Amazing. Genius!

  • as an aside, I like to mention that Mr Dolphy was my favorite diabetic musician

  • that's cool but so were Ella, Dizzy, Miles, Aretha Franklin, Peggy Lee, Johnny Cash, BB King and Curtis Mayfield

  • @Plinblox Please name another diabetic musician, ok?? Please do that...

  • I've been existing in New Orleans, LA, USA for nearly 30 years. This experience has exposed me to alot of music. This man, Eric Dolphy simply had 'it' or musical genius. Extraordinary each and every time.

  • I've been existing in Los Angeles for 48 years. This has exposed me to alot of music also, Eric who is from here, definately has "IT" pure genius, and on un-common instraments. I love ALL of his music!
