  • thanks for not being just another jerk saying rediculous suggestions of obvious non issues. I tracked it down to what you have just shown me. now i know what it is befor i even take it apart. nobody else could answer this problem. they keep saying to clean out the hose, clean out the hose. I knew there had to be a place inside blocked up.

  • Thanks so much, this has given me the confidence to try and clean the dryer out myself. A golden retriever and two cats, I'm sure it's a mess in there. I faithfully clean the lint trap every time but a lot goes by the trap.

  • That was my problem too. Wifey already mad from a long hard day reaches in to take out dry clothes and put wet ones in...aaaahhhh!!!! Babe come fix this dryer!!!! First thing, I looked up your video for a quick cram. Thanks ;)

  • @quovolez LOL, thank you so much. Sounds like me before I fixed mine.

  • Can you show me how to take the back off? mine wont come off.

  • i dont care what other people thinks but ur ideas work fine

  • @rayray7533 Thank you. Yeah me too, LOL

  • Thanks! Nice job. That was it!

  • Thank you so much!! Great lighting, and you speak frankly, can't wait to tear mine open and see if thats why it spins with no heat..

  • You pointed me to my exact problem - my dryer dries the clothes now - Yay! Thanks Dominick!

  • @brucewetzel All right, you just can't beat dry cloths.

  • Update to my comment yesterday: I cleaned my dryer today, thanks. Put it back together, with no leftover pieces, and it works great. I wouldn't have known I could, or should, take off that big interior metal chute that goes between the lint trap and the fan if you hadn't shown it and that's where most of the lint was.

  • @V1nn1espal Awesome, glad it worked out out for you.

  • Great video, thanks. It really helps to see how you do it - many videos just show how to clean the vent but don't take the back off and as you showed, there can be a lot of lint inside there. .

  • You make some of the most informative videos and I can tell you are a really cool guy . Thanks for all your help!

  • Very well explained, kept it interesting! Thanks :)

  • @Ranelion Thank you very much

  • A lot of this is caused because of people's stupidity. Some people never clean their lint screen or use a brush to get at lint from the top of the chute.

  • thanks for the vid!

  • 5/24/11 Thank you for this great and informative video that not only will have our dryer working more efficiently but also keeping our family safe.

  • @mdunnaville Thank you so much

  • Very good and informative.

  • Thank you :)

  • Thats funny because I actually found a dead bird in my vent.

  • Thanks, I know what I'm doing this weekend

  • I was able to watch and easily understand what I can do to clean my own dryer. That saves a lot of money than it would to hire someone to clean it for me or having to buy a new one. Thank you!

  • great video.. nobody goes into depth like this on these dryers. excellent job this is a huge saftey issue.

  • great stuff, I have daughters so when I checked the lint trap, the bottom was filled with glitter.

    Thanks

  • Good stuff!!!

  • This was just what I was looking for! I was ready to go buy a new dryer! Your the man!

  • "It's only on the bottom. It's not going to affect the way it dries, but it certainly will affect the way it goes on fire"....LOL!!

Thank you Dominick! Another very useful, helpful, and informative video. Cleaned our dryer exhaust this weekend. Ours was just as dirty as yours and now that its clean, it dries clothes much more quickly. Will save us money on electricity and saved us from buying a new dryer.

  • Thank you. I would agree with you, however after cleaning mine as you seen it now works awesome. No more wet clothes in the morning.... Must of been the other stuff as well... Thanks again..

  • Thanks Dominick!!! I will be sending this to my friend. It takes him hours to dry his laundry. I told him to check for lint buildup and he didn't know how, so this video will help him out. You the Man!!!!

  • Great.. Thank you very much..
