The remaining members Tony Galla/Gary Mallaber/Jimmy Calire and John Weitz of Buffalo’s own “Raven” will be appearing at the Tralf in Buffalo, NY on June 24-25, 2011. See Tralf's website for more information
Love this tune, always remind me of a smokey northern club with this dude doing a turn, but what a voice..Thank you for posting..long live the wheel tappers and shunters..
I've seen Tony Galla a few times with the Long Beach(CA)Municipal Band and he tears it up singing big band balads and pop tunes....This Guy is a Monster talent. What is great about him he does not sound like anyone. But he can do just about anyone. He posessess a strong and distict
voice and has a great stage presence. With a big 25 piece band doing a Billy May type of arraingement behind him, this cat can SWING!
Unbelievable singing and guitar from the original "Raven" in Buffalo, NY. WOW! This clip is recently recorded from Italian Festival in Buffalo. The great Bobby Militello on sax! Great job by all.
I agree with Soulie, finally we can see a face to a phenomenal record! What a great dancer, great song! No wonder it goes for so much on Ebay. When can we see Tony here in the U.K.?
Tony Galla has to be the greatest mostly-unknown Blue-eyed Soul Singer on this planet! This video could be from 1966...his voice has not changed one ioda..is there a new Cd forthcoming?! Finally, a face with the voice!

Incredible, I always assumed Tony was black, Johnny Maestro (stepping out of the picture) also. Never really noticed the surname. Dark Italians eh?
