this is forbfggamer81. .37 heli engine. 24000 rpm and a 9x7 prop.on a extreme flight outlaw. was clocked a 147mph by a state highway patrol. if your power ratio is higher then your weight ratio. speed is only limited by the prop.

@rs7ion yup that is true, me know this, as i fly 160mph wings that are almost a 1.5-2/1 ratio of weight to thrust.

1210kv x 6 = 7,260 x 22.2volts = 161,172/1056 =

152.6mph NOW minus the DRAG which 20% = 122mph

10% = 137mph

no way its 175mph

I concur that the prop speed in level flight would not match that top speed and we had no way to confirm it the day we shot the video. Dan says he's checked it with a radar gun at other times and I presume the top speed can only be achieved out of a dive. Whatever it was the day we filmed, it was fast and agile!

yes very fast. Most likely in a dive yes. I might build something similar to that with a Dart XL from speedwing. Not sure yet. Im loving the electric outlaw!!!
