I'm gonna say "staged!" At the beginning the narrator's voice sounds phony to me when he says "ho ho old friend!". This looks like something that was filmed in the 70's, and the costumes look they came from "Jeremiah Johnson".

@lunarfriday you can't really stage a fight between 2 wild animals.the only staged thing is putting them in the same place,the rest is real predator behaviour

@geiuy Of course there are many wild animals both bear and cat that have been trained like Bart the bear for the moviie "The Bear." In the movie, a cougar ran away from Bart but since Bart was a 1500 lb. Kodiak bear, any cougar would have run away.
