If they think there's any way one can make a sport involving sitting in vehicles trying to go as fast as you can 100% fool-proof fail-safe they're deluded. Racing is dangerous. Stuff like this happens, and it's tragic for sure, but you'll never make it impossible for competitors to get hurt.
