  • heh heh freeze dried brine shrimp. though i was always disappointed in mine after I sent away from a comic book ad. the lil sea monkey family didn't play cards at their wee underwater table.

  • @empacae

NO KIDDING!! I forewarned the little ones about that! In the 70's when I had them, they were not even this big. They now can reach 3/4 inch long!

  • Wow they about tripled in size already! Do those little freaks live in the wild?

  • @flyboymd82

I know! I copied and pasted from a sea monkey site: "They are a part of the "artemia salina" family, which are in fact crustaceons. In the wild, sea monkeys live in salt lakes but your Sea Monkeys are hybreds so they can live in fresh water."

  • @FugitiveCon Interesting. I wonder how many of them I've swallowed while swimming! LOL!

  • Our one week old sea-monkeys.......Uh, ok after a week the kids have all but lost interest in them. It looks like they are just MINE!! Although, my youngest rushed passed them today and said, "Wow! They've gotten big!!" Then out the door to play she went!
