Sorry, I like Rev. Wright and agree mostly with his comments....and guess what, I'm a rich white guy who went to Yale! I do think wright should be more parsing and careful right now, and he's wrong to hurt Obama--but I do agree with his 1st ammendment rights!
Rev. Wright was appalling and distasteful, and I agree with Rep. Clyburn, Rev. Wright was being vindictive. Obama's former pastor should be elated and show pride in his church member reaching a historical monument as the first African American President. Rev. Wright divided himself among his own Black community. How pitiful!

Wright mocks the media for taking soundbites - Obama also has also relied on the excuse about soundbites - then, when given the opportunity to explain those soundbites, Wright defends what he said. No one can any longer say that Wright, in any of the videos we've seen, was taken out of context.
Why did Rev. Wright's supporters think it would be helpful to hear longer versions of the "snippets"?
America is like Al Qida? That's the full context that is supposed to make everyone feel better? I hope that those that continue to defend Wright are not representative of anything; I don't think that they are.

For those that lacked clarity back in mid march, recent days have strongly demonstrated to them that Wright was NEVER taken out of context.
Did these men watch the video of the lies he told about America and about white people?
