  • GET THAT PEACE OF STEAK OFF THE SIDE OF THE PLATE BEFOR SERVERING JENNY!!! WTFFF!!!!

  • no wonder they get guys to cook the kobe, this chick looks so newb

  • Je veut bien le repas et la fille qui le prepare

  • I can smell your curry from here.

  • Jenny is cute.

  • LE SIRVIO MAS AL DE ENMEDIO!!

  • Without fat, it would not be any taste.

  • I don't like my steaks all cut up in cubes like that. I prefer the whole steak intact and I will cut the pieces myself as I eat.

  • ur an idiot

  • That looks amazing.

  • ive been there b4

  • I have had it at a famous restaurant in Kobe. It was outstanding! :)

  • Is it really that good? I'm not sure if i can justify $150 for a 16oz steak....

    Prove me wrong.

  • I'd eat that fat.

  • I just don't understand. KOBE is supposed to be Ichi Ban! The Very Best! Yet every video I see they cook it on an Iron flat grill! This is nuts, open flame from gas or wood imparts so much to meat. At $500 a pound it seems much like drinking "Dom" from a paper cup.

Hibachi is Japanese no? Cook this stuff over a wood fire folks.

  • Your wrong there, most Americans think it would be better to cook it on an open flame but this contradicts the Japanese cooking style. It is being prepared traditionally and to be honest grilling it on an open flame changes the taste and it's all about the taste.

  • Wrong? There is no right or wrong. Varied and sundry opinions perhaps.

Eat yours Tepenyaki style and enjoy.

I shall eat mine from Hibachi, and we will both be happy.

  • True

  • The reason for the iron grill is that the kobe beef is considered so good that there is no reason to infuse it with other flavors, like the smokey flavor from grilling or wood.

Cooking it on the iron grill preserves the original flavor of the meat itself.

But as you said, there is no right or wrong, but what I said here is one reasoning for the iron grill.

  • I agree. They also cooked this fine cut of beef way too long. Anything more than medium rare, and the steak has been defiled.

  • I agree but it is hard to find really good wagyu outside japan. best grill serloin rare very nice. I don't like it cut up so much.

  • @anonpoolaidsect By wagyu, do you mean the actual living cow or the actual meat? I've been to more modern parts of East Asia, wagyu meat can be very common if you locate a Japanese-owned supermarket. Kobe meat may just have to be a manhunt though.

  • meat. Kobe is same stuff just overpriced. Only difference is kobe is done on tiny farms so they have to massage the cows. As long as it is same grade there is no difference.

  • it's good she cut the fat off.. fat = bad for you.

  • although when it comes to meat, fat=flavor.

  • ahaha you know nothing. Kobe beef is world renowned for its high fat content. Have you ever seen a piece of kobe beef? half of it is fat, but not just a hunk of fat, it has perfect marbling and distribution which makes it look as though it was made it heaven to be eaten by angels. Lean meat was made for the devil to eat in hell.

  • i don't like to eat the fat on my beef. More fat surrounding my beef is ok as long as the fat is taken before i eat it. I don't want to eat pure fat when i eat meat. I'm a healthy person, i love beef, not covered in fat though. Remove the fat after it is cooked thanks.

  • I'm a very healthy person too :) I understand how you want that pure strip of fat removed, but jut so you know, kobe beef is very well marbled fatty meat.

  • @oishitomoro - Hahaha! You know my friend, I know you were joking! but if you check in the Bible, fat was considered a good thing! I think it says they used to give fat as an offering to The Lord.

  • @oishitomoro Your comment had me in stitches lol

  • step away from the beef!

  • let me eat with you!

  • Original kobe beef isn't actually beer fed, that is American kobe-style beef. Still bloody good but not the real thing, and yes you CAN taste the difference

  • WRONG CHECK UR FACTS

  • how much was it?

  • dude, the fat is the best part!

  • @Avi1977

    only in america

  • ive tried kobe beef before at this expensive club my uncle reserved for my cuzins bday and wow its amazing
