Fires didn't bring the buildings down...Fire coupled with the fact that multiple columns on multiple floors disintegrated on impact of a 150+ ton aircraft traveling at over 400 miles per hour. It was a progressive collapse with many complex factors other than simply fire.

Watch any video of the Tower 1 collapse and you will see it gets hit very hard by the debris cloud of the top floors. If the government really wanted to use this as a means to go to war it could have been far less dramatic with less loss of life and still been a catalyst. They didn't have to go to these lengths, it's ludicrous to think otherwise

@chandru1103 if you look at pictures of ground zero, you will see buildings that are closer to the towers with much more damage than WTC7 and they remained standing. one building in particular, half the building is gone but remains standing. if we use your explanation, shouldn't buildings that were closer to the towers with more damage have fallen as well? WTC7 was further away with less damage and yet falls at free fall speed.

The rest of the towers (the interior portions) clearly collapsed at a much slower speed. When you get a chance, watch a closeup of the collapse of either tower

One person has done statistically accurate calculations using a video/statistical software and the results are that building wtc7 did indeed go down about free fall speed at least about couple of seconds. And it was not the outer walls but the whole building. You can easily verify this by calculting it frame by frame teknique.

Even with the planes hitting the building it wouldnt make the whole thing fall down, a building has a skeletal like structure made of steel and sourrounded and reanforced by concrete, yes the plane would damage the building, making a big hole in it, but the whole lower part of the building is undamaged and still strong enough to support the whole structure unlesss something else was implanted to create a controlled demolishion.
