Yep -made It for our last day of school. Every year the year 12's decorate the whole school, from kindergarden to the top. and then leave the school in some sort of unusual vehicles wearing flower wreaths made by yr 11 -we went in fire engines and showered the kids in lollies and water. it was a hot day though lol! My contribution was doing the library up as a jail and projecting this inside. sure beets the destructive 'muck up day' culture at a lot of other schools. ..can

still remember when i was in kindergarden and the big scary year 12s left. we made them all cookies, sung them a song to wish them well, and they gave us each a shiny little bell. i was pretty impressed as a 3yr old.

I'm from Waldorf Philippines! we dont call it Steiner school for some reason...anyways...aahhh the foot wear..always broken here! the electronic devises..i have a video in our classroom talking about TV while the teacher was there..and we were exchanging cell phone numbers! and new about the "adults stuff" when we were only in the 2nd grade... we also joked about drugs and beer! and the one most important rule...NO TV! what child dint break that???Waldorf/steiner school rocks!

i had a great time at steiner. currently in Bodhgaya, India the place where buddha attained enlightenment. sat under the famous boddhi tree this morning. quite cool.
