I'm a white guy and maybe I'd give her a good pounding out of curiosity,but that aside she thinks she is tough and all that. She is self centered-a diva as someone else said, she likes attention, she like almost every detective white, black, or hispanic, is insecure and them being in these jobs makes them feel secure and tough. I know a kid I went to school with and someone came up and slapped him in the back of the head and right then and there he decided to become a cop. She sounds stupid.

I love Caroline and i hate her. She comes to a crime scene all dressed up like she going to church, heels, make up,long fingernails but she walking on a crime scene that's sometimes littered with garbage bottom line Carline thinks she is cute. She is a good detective. City of Memphis is not allowing First 48 there anymore. They say it's giving Memphis a bad name. I don't think so.

I am from memphis originally. I have great memories of my childhood. Its great to see Memphis featured on the tv in 1st 48. I don't think calling the show racist is a fair or accurate assessment. Look at the demographics of each major city featured on the show. Most of them have a large majority of 'minorities', and it makes sense that the majority would rule. It certainly seems to me that more Hispanics are seen in Miami and the demographics support that. If this show was filmed in a tiny podunk town in New England, do you still think it would be racist? Of course not.

they don`t go to white cities like New England. they only go to black cummunities and very few latin communities. this show is just black exploitation trying it`s best to make it seem as though black males are responcible for 99% of the crime in the U.S. and that whites are blameless. because believe it or not they have white gangs all over the U.S committing simular crimes as black ones. but it`s to embarrassing to white society to put the white male youths in the same catergory as minorities.
