Dude this looks absolutely amazing... it has that real "film look"... very professional. Maybe it's the lenses you used. Are the Helios and Jupiter lenses good quality? I've never heard of them. Also, did you use lighting equipment? And also did you add any effects in post processing to give it the film look?
@soundbeans Helios-44M and Jupiter 9 are old Russian camera lenses, made in Soviet era. They have a M42 lens mounts and I used a adapter to attach them to my 550D. These lenses are still good and can provide a very shallow depth of field, but in most cases I used a Tamron lens. I shot the film in 1080p at 24fps and did some colour correction with the basic Premiere Pro colour correction tools and Magic Bullet Looks plugin in the post production.
