Especially in the southern US states... it's always some guy named Bubba,Travis,Earl, or Cody driving around in one of these idiotmobiles even with high gas prices and the the economy hnging by a thread! It just goes to show such people are out of touch with reality or just have thier head up thier asses.
This is a nice car. We've had the same pleasure to drive this car, but only the 2011 model. This car is really suitable for a long road trip (from the Netherlands to Latvia and back). Along the way we had so much fun, you should check out our video about this car

@mrrogersneighborhood That's my hesitation with buying a hatchback...getting squashed like a bug by one of those Hummers or F350's. I'm ok with slower city driving, but the highway has me genuinely concerned. Of course, the more people trading in their suv's for the truly efficient utility of a hatch, the safer it will become to drive a hatch. I guess somebody has to make the "first" move...
Btw, I kept bouncing back and forth between the Rio and Veloster, but I've finally decided to go V.
These commercials make buying a hatchback seem so wondrously exciting, then when you actually go buy one, mostly because you were so pumped up from watching commercials like this one, and pull out into the main road and there isn't any spacey techno music, no flashing display of majestic lights, no cinematic drama-capturing views of the drive home, no nothing,just you, sitting in a clown car, looking like a shriner, you think,"fuck!, I just bought a hatchback! Nobody drives a fucking hatchback!"
@ericj305 ....There's nothing wrong with driving a smaller vehicle(hatchback or whatever) if you can't afford a gas guzzling over-sized Truck or SUV! Besides, it looks alot more assinine driving around in one of these jacked up redneckmobiles like F150s, Rams,Hummers,or Tahoes and Avalanches,etc. Sorry, but I got to agree with Mrrodgersnieghborhood there...., only insecure morons drive around in these big vehicles which most of them don't need anyway!
