Saw the Hell Bent tour when I was 12. They opened for KISS, who I really went to see, in Huntington, WV in 79. All I remember about JP was that KK fell off the stage backwards doing that backbend thing he used to do with his long hair and I remember a motorcycle coming out on stage. Little did I know I would become such a fan a few years later. Halford started the whole metal scene wearing gay leatherboys attire and they didn't even know it!
I never missed a Priest show back in the day saw them open up for fucking Fog Hat (sin after sin tour) they dressed like on sad wings of destiny lp and only had half stacks ,got to see british steel show 2 nights in a row....man I miss those days
@Mrdoctorx Then the shows just got better and better,Defendersof the faith with Rob coming out on the beast;s tounge and then the fire blasting out must have been 20-30 feet over his head and into the audiance,How about the continously morphing chrome robot for the Turbo tour finally picking him up .Truely the kings of full throttle LSD Arena rock.
