Toegegeven, het is een rare vergelijking, maar de impact van de noot, zoals Janine die speelt, in Fauré (op 2:54/2:55 in de clip, uiteraard in de context van de omliggende maten) is immens en vergelijkbaar met de noten op "Ich Ruh'..." in "Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen" van Mahler in de uitvoering van Dame Baker en Sir Barbirolli.

Overigens driewerf hulde voor de gehele CD!!!

Wow, ik heb vele uitvoeringen gehoord van dit stuk (uiteraard ook in zang), maar dit is wel echt zeer mooi.

Very mixed feelings, listening with my eyes closed it's great playing, but I'm not sure about the MTV side of this clip. Mrs. Jansen has recently suffered a burnout, too much recording, promotional stuff etc. I sincerely hope she'll get over it, since she is a great fiddler, arguably the cream of the 2010 generation! Stay well Janine, you're the best!
