To me, it's not about art, but rather what she may think as advanced. Who's to say what advanced is? What program you use, how long you've been vidding, how many subscribers you may have? Because, honestly, I've been vidding for nearly two years. Does that make me advanced? Or how about the fact that I have about 100 subscribers? Does that make me not advanced? How can anyone tell what advanced is, when everyone has different preference levels for art? It seems just a little narrow minded.

I like to think art is everywhere: it all depends on what you find as art. It's merely her opinion, and thus it is not stupid. I'm all for her rules and her contest, but how does she determine what advanced is? Because there are probably a lot of editors that I'd find wonderful that she might not consider advanced: I guess they don't get to enter. Maybe if she actually tried to show what she feels is advanced, I'd be okay with the rule. But, again, our opinions mean shit, as you say. .

Just adding my opinion haha! I don't think she meant advanced as in the program that you use or the amount of subscribers you have...but your actual style of editing, the thing that matters. Like...if someone slaps together a 5 minute video of a slideshow with just random pictures fading in/out...with no pacing to the music..no effects...just fade ins/outs...that wouldn't be considered as advanced editing...

Haha; great minds thinks alike it seems. Your contest have the same name as the studio/collab group I started up last summer xD That aside, this seems great, apart from one thing; "advanced editing only". That is horrible narrowminded. Art is everywhere, and if you call one video art, every video should be, needless of how many videos they have made or what program they may have. Which changes this contest from awesome, to rather idiotic and disgraceful to the term "art".

But well, delet unistall useless programs and files from you comp to get more free memory for computer. That will help a little.
