  • How did this lawsuit not end the horrible disgusting practise of genital mutilation of defenceless children? I mean for fucks sake its done as a superstitious cult ritual. How hard is it to stop shit like that in 2012?

  • GREAT JOB WILLIAM

  • My nephew so mutilated, he has real complications... I can't understand, why his mother doing nothing about it...

  • how did he win????? just because his mother didn't remember signing the paper? she didn't complain when they just took her child and circumcised him??? come on this is ridiculous. ( i like the indian story. I am curious what it would be like to have my skin)

  • I came close to comitting suicide in puberty because of the Mangeled circumcision chosen for me. Maybe there is hope after all, in sueing the infant mangelers out of buisness. All those involved in allowing me to be circumcised are dead, except my mother, and she has to live knowing that her ignorant decision caused my brothers to grow up and commit suicide.

  • yaay will :) He's one of my best friends that I hang out with regularly and I am SO proud of him!! <3

  • @MacHead31 He never said it prevented anybody from reaching an orgasm. That doesn't mean some leval of pleasure was deprived from them. Who knows maybe he does have complications.

  • @Nifrayu If he does have problems it is all mental, meaning he thinks he can't enjoy sex so he doesn't. He will probably restore and go through the placebo effect, then he will report a greater sex life.

When a medical book says one thing then this guy says another it is hard to believe him, especially when I saw a girl put a beer bottle up her and it didn't look like she was having problems. A sybian is suppose to be better than sex (4 girls) and it doesn't have a foreskin.

  • @MacHead31 I meant complications like damage to his penis or maybe he experiences pain. It could also be that he does not have enough skin to become fully erect. These things happen sometimes..

  • @MacHead31 "He will probably restore and go through the placebo effect, then he will report a greater sex life."

A placebo effect could only give you what you expected. But when restored men experience sensations that they never HAD before and never even knew about, it is far more than just a "placebo effect".

  • @MacHead31 "If he does have problems it is all mental"

THAT could be true if there were no real physical reasons. However, having a part of one's body surgically altered IS physical. There is REAL reason to attribute problems to the physical damage that has occurred.

  • @lochinvar00465 So is liposuction.

  • @MacHead31 and uninformed opinions onto others, or at least educate yourself on the topic so you can talk FACTS rather than worthless anecdotes and myths.

You are quick to call that guys opinion crap, when it is perfectly valid, but seem to think your opinion is somehow more valid or more correct when it is neither.

As someone who has never experienced sex intact any comment you should make about it is pure speculation, so I won't be taking it seriously. Go and read a book, I am bored now.

  • @soundseeker63 Ok. You take your evidence and I will take mine.

  • @MacHead31 Are you turned on by circumcision?

  • @Zojidak Are you turned on by foreskin?

  • @MacHead31 No, I am not.

  • @soundseeker63 Yeah. We are one of MANY (Billions) of the successful organisms.

I hope you don't go on teaching evolution to any children.

  • My parents told a "doctor" to circumcise me when I was a defenseless infant. My parents are not qualified to give medical advice. The "doctor" who accepted medical advice from my parents is guilty of malpractice as far as I am concerned.

  • Glad to hear about lawsuits. Just about every mother in the 1960's was con'ed into agreeing with circumcision. At once, every American was born with a defective penis that was in immediate need of cosmetic surgery.

  • @timothyjames24

The World Health Organization is practically alone in the professional medical world in its stance regarding AIDS/HIV and circumcision. Nobody else takes it seriously because first, it is NOT a cure, nor does it prevent AIDS/HIV. The studies on this were heavily flawed to the point of fraud as anyone who read the studies could see. Their disregard of the scientific method was obvious by their manipulation of data to get the result that they wanted.

  • @timothyjames24 Obviously you didn't, because those facts are real - as you'd have discovered if you did any real digging. Circumcision does NOT prevent AIDS. The only thing that is effective are safe sex practices. BTW - in many places in Africa where mass circumcision have taken place, the rate of infection has actually INCREASED. This is something else you would have discovered if you were actually inclined to learn something new about this issue.

  • @timothyjames24 - regarding HIV and circumcision, no, the facts aren't clear. Just google 'flawed HIV African studies' and you'll see why. It's a misconception that cutting off part of a child's penis will save them from HIV/AIDS. In fact, in America - where we have routinely been cutting our children - our rates of such diseases are actually HIGHER than in countries where babies are NOT routinely put under the knife. Americans have been sold a slopjar full of lies about the 'benefits' of circ.

  • @timothyjames24 You're the only one trying to distort the facts. It's a statistic that 150 boys are killed by circumcision, that's in the US alone. Circumcision does not save any lives. Your only evidences comes from randomized trials the data collection methods of which were designed specifically to indicate that circumcision would reduce HIV. I have some bad news for you: not one population study launched to confirm these findings could find any correlation between circumcision and HIV.

  • @timothyjames24 Your entire argument is a Godwin, yet you accuse us of mongering fear? Not a single data analysis of populations vulnerable to AIDS has found that circumcision will prevent HIV. In a majority of those populations, HIV is actually higher in circumcised men. I have my own statistics proving that circumcision ends the lives of about 150 American boys each year. Let's see those "medical facts" behind your claim that circumcision will save lives.

  • these settlements piss me off. you will never know if you won or lost. however, I assume a substantial amount of $ was handed out in the settlement, which is a sign of a loss. sue now!

  • This happened to me and now I'm wondering if seeking damages for this would be good for both me and for others to become aware.

  • The Legal-Fact on >Forced Foreskinectomy<

The practice of MGM [also] in this country [ the USA ] violates numerous laws and international treaties, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention Against Torture, the Constitution and Penal-Law.

It is in violation of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, which GUARANTEES EQUAL-PROTECTION for both girls AND boys under the law.

Prof. jur. med. Amen Ronald Oberhollenzer

  • Yes Charlie, you dumbass. Some might laugh. Some might laugh to watch a doctor whack the end off of your dick, eh? You sound as though you are so very in favor of circumcision. Why not step up to the plate, Charlie?

  • @QUESTI0NSnANSWERS , yes, you are talking about YOU. It is wrong when it is done when the foreskin is healthy. In other words you want boys rioutinely circumcised to prevent those few cases that might or might not happen. How ironic you use the term pro-choice but will deny that choice to your children. I am sure women who get breast cancer are not telling other women to remove their breasts to avoid cancer.

  • @QUESTI0NSnANSWERS , you are so brainwashed. Getting rid of any body part is the only gauarantee that you will eliminate any ailment that is associated with it that may come up in the future. So I guess all women should removed their breasts because a lot more women will develop breast cancer than any man who will have any problems with his foreskin. I am uncut and I never have a problem with it. Perhaps you should wake up form your ethnocentric little world: uncut men are the norm.

  • On Demerol she had no idea where the hell she even was. Therefore the consent is invalid because the person consenting was not in a state of sound mind at the time of consent. Also the person consenting was not the person who was having a part of their body removed without medical need. HIS BODY HIS DECISION!!!!

  • ???? It's like suing a movie producer for not making a better movie?? Whaaatttt???

  • @AmyZygoptera i know that guy was an idiot

  • @AmyZygoptera A movie has no direct effect on your life, though. You dick, on the other hand, does.

  • @TheWorstWarlock A movie doesn't involve the permanent amputation of tissue from your body... What an absurd comparison! Besides, as a baby he didn't buy movie tickets or consent to unnecessary genital surgery. Ridiculous.

  • @endofscene Indeed. That was an idiotic analogy.

  • The forced mutilation of a child should be perfect ground for a class action suit all hospitals and medical personnel who have performed circumcision. That may be the only way to stop the ignorance and malfeasance.

  • well done william, hope they pay the compensation you rightly deserve. you was mutilated by medics and they should pay to compensate you.

  • William Stowell is making a huge impact on the future of men's body rights in America. It is great to see men standing up against this barbaric practice that harms both men and their partners.

  • I'd say that Doc Johnson has a Docked Johnson and is just there to make everyone feel better about themselves, their cut penises, and their poor decisions. But then what else would you expect from the media?

  • Good on William Stowell. Do you have any footage of the next segment where the presenter asks Dr. Tim Johnson about the "medical science of circumcision"? And who is Dr. Tim Johnson anyway? Does he even have a foreskin or do they consider him an expert on penises because his name is Johnson?

  • There's no doubt that many more men myself included would sue for our UNCONSENTED circumcisions if it wasn't for the statute of limitations!

  • i hate criminal circumcision.

  • who wants to sue these idiots. i also wanna sue my retarded mom for signing the concent.

  • why can't one mainstream media program interview a doctor who actually knows what the hell he is talking about on circumcision, instead of a hand-picked pro-circ'er or "neutral" spineless doctor (referring to Tim Johnson). ugh

  • Theres no benefit or harm to circ? Well you don't use your pinky toe, why don't we just cut those off too? Theres no benefit or harm.

  • How dare Charles Gibson compare genital mutilation to a "bad movie." Bad movies end after a couple hours. Genital mutilation is for the rest of an individuals life. Myths and religion can no longer be used as an excuse for genital mutilation (also known as circumcision.)

  • @chadpopstar Exactly. That was outrageous. Comparing watching a movie which you didn't like to having part of your penis amputated as a baby? People CONSENT to watch movies. This presenter (or whoever he's working for) obviously doesn't get or doesn't want to get the issue of Human Rights and Genital Integrity.

It just shows how the American media trivialises and minimises this issue in order to cover their own arses, stay in denial, and keep making money off of it.

  • The problem was that they asked "Doctor" Tim Johnson about this to mollify their own scars and guilt, and he claimed it was "okay either way". Obviously not or Will wouldn't be litigating. Duh! Another example of how terrible the media is. Sure, ABC presented this, but what spineless fools they are. No mention was made about the fact that if Gloria Steinem has rights, so does William Stowell! It's like a Twilight Zone episode or I'm on glue. The health dep. wiped their ass on my complaint.

  • @gdcat777 Does Tim Johnson's johnson even have a foreskin? Does he even know what a foreskin is and what it does?

  • Please understand that I do not defend routine infant circumcision. All I am saying is that consent to circumcise, obtained from a mother who has recently given birth, is not informed consent judiciously given.

I would welcome a law saying that minors may not be circumcised without a compelling medical reason.

  • @mersiepoodle I'm surprised the insurance carriers cover it.

  • @pf126p : Medicaid will not pay for it in 16 states. BC/BS will not pay for it in other states, including California. When Medicaid drops coverage, there is a tendency for private insurers to drop it as well.

The American upper middle class hate the pointed penis so much that they are willing to be out of pocket in order to eradicate the point. This is a perversion.

  • @alnot01 The middle class are always the most prudish and repressed people because they actually care what other people think of them. They do everything they can to "fit in" and "look good". And the upper middle class has enough money to waste on doing this.

  • Every guy who wishes he wasn't circumcised should sue because it was done against their will and because it is an unnecessary procedure!

  • No woman who has recently given birth should be asked about any non-emergency medical treatment for her newborn child. Her judgement is likely to be impaired. Circumcision should be agreed before admission to the maternity ward, in writing, after Mom and Dad exercise due diligence. To ask the mother to consent to her son's circumcision while she is on pain killers or the like should be actionable. No valid informed consent is possible under such circumstances.

  • @alnot01 Such a treatment should decide boy when he grows up,, with the possible exception when the circumcision is medically justified.

  • Stowell is not an effective spokesperson for the cause. But Llewellyn is.

It is very true that the AAP and the AMA skew the debate by ignoring evidence bearing on the damage circumcision does to sexual pleasure and functioning. They claim that there is no "evidence" bearing on this. But the burden of proof rightly rests on those who advocate circumcision.

I bet the % of American adult white males who are circumcised is a lot higher than 60%.

  • @alnot01 "I bet the % of American adult white males who are circumcised is a lot higher than 60%", yes, the figures are racially skewed, but the rate is falling, so the %age being cut today is much lower than the %age of cut men.

  • Thats sad. I am 26 and i was not circumsied and i thank god for it.

sad to see that ppl do this to there babies. they should at lest make a law to where the kids can make up there on minds. of weather or not thay want to have it done are not. like maby wait in tell there 18 years old or somein. this is just plum sad. ppl should find new ways to prvient STD. etc

  • Cicumcision need to be made a crime it is after all mutilation cutting of normal healthy tissue is mutilation The Hypocratic oath for doctors i'm paraphrasing here is to do no harm. By definition circumcision is mutilation therefore harm.

  • if they convinced themselves that it was "for his own good," they probably would have sliced off his entire package and then punished him for possessing private parts

  • Wow, seeing all these comments is pretty cool. William is my brother. I didn't realize how many people he touched through the cause. Awesome!

  • People are going to have to be prosecuted. It is a crime called mayhem to slice off a part of another person's body.

  • @jx14aby: Right - and there is no specific exception in law for the male foreskin, just custom. The hard part is going to be finding a clear-eyed judge who is not blinded by prior assumptions.

  • To me it makes absolutely no difference whether the parents conscent to it or not or if they are druged and not thinking clearly when they make the decision. IT IS NOT THERE CHOICE TO MAKE. HIS BODY HIS CHOICE, MY BODY MY CHOICE!!!

  • It if ain't yours, you can't cut it.

  • This suit is no longer pending. William Stowell won his lawsuit against those who were involved in his forced circumcision.

    You can see it here:

    Doctors and hospitals take note:

Unless you want to face future lawsuits, don't amputate genital tissue from those who did not give consent to have their genitals permanently altered!

  • THANK-GOD FOR THIS VIDEO. i WISH THEY TOLD HOW MANY NERVES A MAN LOSES--> 20,000 NERVE ENDINGS OUT OF THE 24,000!!! CIRCUMCISION IS NOT NEEDED FOR TIGHT FORESKIN EITHER!!!

  • @seaco2000 Exactly!

  • @RevengePowerMoney

    Those sick evil/stupid bastards!!
