No. I have seen double-shackle setups but really there is no need for it and it's definitely not streetable with that kind of setup unless you link it and/or pin it but at that point might as well go coils or 1/4 elliptical.
A missing-link / drop shackle/ 3/4 elliptical all work really well for flex but you have to tweak them all (especially 3/4 elliptical) to keep stability.
This is the first suspension mod we did since he did an SOA with stock springs. In this video it has CJ rear springs with the main eyes in the stock position/missing links and front stock leafs. There are newer videos with the current setup.
it is a little stiff but not TOO much...in this vid the front is what is causing the problem. the front has has been taken care of by installing YJ front springs.
oh ok..i was saying cuz i have the ive got a my self a suzuki like that and the suspension is out ragious like the wheeling spots we have here in kitimat the district put big rocks at the entry to stop people from going up there cuz its where the powerlines are and me and my dad crawled right over them..it took a few attempts but we ended up flopping right up and over
what tires????

sammis are nice...they work REALLY well off-road especially because they are so light.
evulution1337 2 years ago

@ZacNeale95
Hell yea they do - my CJ is just about the MAX width for ATV trails...but his truck is a bit wider now too...

mopar8903 2 years ago
@mopar8903
Thanks.
Those are actually his 'temp\spare\crap wheels" but IIRC they are from a tracker?
Check out the newer vids of his truck...more to come (my daughter hid the video camera bag haha - she's only 19mos)
evulution1337 2 years ago
he must think hes driveing a v8 or something because u gotta rev your sammi to get up something!
lol
mopar8903 2 years ago
@mopar8903
Not really...the clutch was bad in this video which was the real problem. I think he was in 2H also...
Now that he is geared there is no problem what-so-ever.

rebeldawg2169 2 years ago
@rebeldawg2169
Yes - it was definitely too narrow...if you look at a newer vid you will notice she is a bit wider. :)
