There was no blood on his hands when he got knocked down. While down on the ice he put his hands to his face and I first saw the blood on his hands. As he pulled them away the blood start to appear from around his left eye.

just telling you what I saw - missing a stick incident the shift before doesn't make me a dumbass. btw, do the refs/linesmen let bleeding players come onto the ice from the bench?

I was there also row 9 and straight on side view of both. Ruel knew it was coming, he practically danced his way to the fight. Nothing cheap about it, just 2 good hits.

Ruel was taken off the ice with each arm over another skater's shoulders and his feet were barely moving. He was bleeding from the left eye area.

Chin, eye? Who gives a crap where he got hit, it was above the belt. Any fight with 4 gloves and 2 helmets on the ice seems more than fair to me.

I agree with you in seeing it coming...especially with the shit that Ruel pulled right before the fight, I knew it was going to happen, just wasn't sure who was gonna do it. I'm glad Siers knocked him the fuck out :)

Didn't see right before, but on the previous shift Ruel was standing on the ice stradling a star underneath him with his hands cross-checking width apart on his stick.

They were near the blue line so it didn't seem like it had anything to do with the scrum in front of the net.

Didn't see what happened or which Star it was, but no doubt it had something to do with the fight the following shift.
