The reason alot of people didnt like this movie was because it wasnt realistic. I dont like going to the movies and watching it all the meawhile saying "thats not how it happens." Even the scene where the rookie cop gets killed. They dont just post a flyer on a wall. The whole city knows when a cop gets killed. Its a big deal in NYC. Nothing about this movie made me feel like it took place in brooklyn. No real authenticity. Id give this movie a 2.5 stars out of five.

when you actually watch the movie you know that ethan hawke is stealing drug money to buy a new house for his pregnant wife (of twins) and 4 kids. At one point the wife even gets admitted to hospital cause of the wood moulds in their house. How the hell do you expect someone to look with that kind of shit on his mind?

ethan hawke was amazing as were all the other actors.
