'Parasite' and 'Symbiosis' are my favorite episodes because Jon utilizes a classic plot device for them. Before the death of the 'Plague' character, we were seeing Jon Brent as the classic hero fighting a corrupt system. However, in 'Symbiosis', we see a darker side to Jon. He's killed a civilian, he's feeling unappreciated, and this parasite has given him all he wants: power. Not only that, but we also get to see the showdown we've been waiting for: Jon & Mike.
