Hey Norris, I remember the day when we both went to Ft Riley, got in the same platoon, same gunteam, I remember everything we done together as best friends, it was a true honor to be your best friend. The day of the firefight was the worst day of my life..you died right next to me in combat. I will always remember you and none of the guys in the platoon will forget about you, we love you Norris.
God Bless you Cody Norris I will never forget you. These 13 years ive known you you've brought a lot of join into my life, a lot of laughter and just a whole lot of Cody. Im honored to have known you and to have been in JROTC with you. Its so sad that you died this early in life but you did it doing what you loved most. Thats the Cody I know and love keep smiling down on all of us <3
I never personally met him, but my brother did, and from the way he talks about him, Cody was truly a remarkable young man. ANYone who is willing to die for the rights and liberties of others is one who is to be held in the highest of regards. It is a real honor to have dwelled in the same school as he did, even if I didn't know him, and his lasting impact on our city is truly evident. Cody Norris is a true American hero, and I know that he is in God's arms now. You have my eternal gratitude.
get the frack out of Afghanistan. I love this country too. we need to make sense in the battles we continue to choose. Ted Poe, find a way to get out to stop these good men from dying. We could be there forever and the Taliban will still be there too and won't be that much weaker than they are now.
It's true only 2 men will lay down their life for us, Jesus Christ & a soldier. Thank you, Cody. You made a difference in my life, at LPHS and in giving your life for me and my family. He'll always be my hero.

Your son died a Hero. And my gratitude can never be conveyed enough ....
Thanks to you for raising such an Honorable and Fine young man...
I hope to do the same and raise my only son to be an Honorable man as well...Xoxo's
His parents are missing their son, But what an Honor to have had him as a son...My Condolences and My Gratitude to him, his family, and all the other parents missing their children for my family's Freedom and Safety....
This young man served in the JROTC with my sisters, and I can tell you that whether you have lost respect for your country or not he loved his country and died proudly for it. He died so that you could use your freedom of speech to talk negatively about the country he loved so dearly. His life was spent doing what he believed in, and YOU can not take that away from him. Have some respect, whether you lost faith in your country or not, Cody didn't. R.I.P Cody Norris, Our American Hero.
U took the words right out of my mouth.people R 2 quick 2 down the country & the wars.they forget that the reason they get 2 B ignorant & say stupid things is b/c of R soliders & the wars they fight.no matter what R "leaders" do, U will NEVER C me belittle R soliders.they do things 4 us N war that allow us 2 B home safe w/our families.words can't describe the amount of gratitude & love i have 4 R soliders.i am truely sorry 4 this family's loss & eternally grateful 4 his sacrifice.RIP Cody
God Bless him, I was in the Army and my family. I absolutely support the troops. I used to have However have a more hawkish attitude. However as I grew older and learned more, especially what a fraud the world was, I changed my mind, and I liked more things about my country less and less. I realized I was a victim and being exploited for the most part. I think his life could have been better spent just like the lives of my own relatives.
