I have had a Venus for over a year and it works wonderfully for me. People who say it sucks and doesn't work haven't taken good care off it. If you keep it in the protective sleeve thing they send with it when you aren't using it it will be good, just take care of your phone and you'll be fine.

Can someone let me know how you get songs from your itunes onto the lg venus? it comes with two chips but its not clear how to use either of them.

to compare telus rogers and bell with rogers when i barrowed my mothers phone the sony ericson when i was up at the cabin youd hafe to drive back to ttown to use the phone the keys where horrable and as well the other phones that rogers makes and rogers can be easy hacked into no prob so if you want a phone then ither go with bell telus or fido atleast they got a good deals

when you answer incoming calls, do you have to slide it up? also, when taking pictures is it possible to take the picture vertically?

Hey There

You can actually answer calls by sliding the phone open or touching the answer key on the touchscreen. You can also adjust the settings so you can choose to answer calls either by slide or touch or both.

Taking pictures with this phone is great; you can take them in portrait or landscape.

Take it for a test drive at a TELUS store and check out all the cool features first hand.

While the HTC Touch was available before the LG VENUS, the HTC Touch is a smartphone and the LG VENUS is PCS phone -- the first with a touchscreen.
