THE PERFECT TEACHER . AND MCCABES WAS A MAGIC PLACE . IT GOT ME PAST DISCO AND RAP UNSCATHED . KEEP PLAYING AND POSTING .

  • Thanks for watching. Yes indeed, Kit is the man!!! I can't believe I started studying with him almost twenty years ago. Where the heck has the time gone??? Do you know Nancy there? I've bought many guitars from her over the years including the Goodall on these videos. Have a great day.....

    Glen

  • Very nicely done. Counterpiont great. Thanks. I'd like one day to learn that.

  • great playing!! :)

  • Excellent...brings a tear to the eye!!! Well done mate!

  • This is fantastic! I don't suppose you know of a tab for this online or anything? I'd very much like to play it...

  • Check the back issues of "Acoustic Guitar Magazine." The arrangement was published in one of them some years ago.

  • Nice arrangement played very nicely. Nice job adding that little Harrison counter melody at 1:20

    Cheers,

    allen

  • Yes, I only wish I could take credit for the arrangement. Ruskin is really an amazing player. Thanks for watching!!!

    Glen

  • Glen,

Playing another person's arrangement does not lessen the quality of your performance at all. Classical players do not rearrange Bach they interpret. The phrasing and delivery are what makes a performance your own.

    Cheers,

    allen

  • Sweet arrangement, well done!

    Carl

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

That's pretty darn funny!! Thanks so much for watching.

    Glen

  • amazing. is that a dean acoustic?

  • Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed the song. It's actually a Goodall Grand Concert guitar.

    Glen

  • that is a beautiful guitar. the only reason i thought it was a dean was the design on the head. it sounded way too good to be a dean acoustic.

  • You're right, it does resemble the Dean headstock. A couple of years ago I was at the Anaheim NAMM show and saw Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme in the Dean booth playing their acoustics. Was pretty cool...

Didn't play one, but they looked good!

    Glen

  • nice, they are definitely good looking guitars. i have two of them, an inexpensive 6 string and a 12 string. they play well for their price. nothing compares to the taylor though.

  • Beautiful!
