because giving an exact date means there's a chance they might have to break it if something goes wrong. With big game developers its different, they have it made, then release it when its economically suited, but with ngmoco, a small dev, they release it the second they can for the users.

For those of you that are ripping on this game for being a copy of pocket god it is not like pocket god! The only things that are similar are the name and the fact that you are a god. It looks way more in-depth than pocket god and you should not judge it before you play it

No, Black and White is COMPLETELY different from Pocket God. Plus they didn't call their game "White and Black" or even include ANYTHING rip-offish in Pocket God. Godfinger even just SOUNDS like Pocket God, as well as the finger concept. I'll admit it's a cool idea, but that's only because I like Pocket God so much. This IS a ripoff of Pocket God, whether you like it or not.

It HAS no point. The point is to torture or be benevolent to your pygmies. You DO realize it's not 1.00... It's had 30 updates since its release. There are 5 areas in the game, each having tons of ways to interact with the pygmies and the island. You don't understand how many features Pocket God has. Do you even HAVE it? GodFinger looks fun, I know from watching the trailer that it's not a copy. Sure it has more depth as a game but Pocket God is not meant to be that. It's an entertainment app.

I do have it, since ninth version I believe. My kid plays with it, and I enjoyed it the first two minutes. He still likes it, but he's 5 years old, so complicated games are really not for him.

Yes of course its not the same as Pocket God. If they would do that, they where asking for people to be pissed about it. They've added some extra features Pocket God doesn't have, but the basic is the same, and I think its stolen. (if you can name it that way.
