@dragonle7 when an FF is set up correctly the rear rotates out on some corners just a little. not really a drift and the anime makes it seem a lot wider than it would be a real life, but yes correctly set up FFs do mini drift on occation especially under left foot braking or trail braking

@mynock05 Front wheel drive cars CAN drift. Any car can drift. A drift is simply a sliding motion of the car. A front wheel drive cannot maintain a drift for an extended period of time. So you're only partially right in your explanation

It depends on your definition of drift.  FF cars aren't capable of truly drifting. What they can do is a power slide, which is similar to a drift, but with a few minor differences. Due to the lack of throttle input to the wheels which have lost traction, they can't change angle mid slide to the level FR or MR can. They don't drift so much as they do power slide or "ass dragging" as some FF haters refer to it as. Hope this helps.
