There's an astounding reason for that: it did.

However, the bottle was presumably a fake made from what I believe is called 'sugar glass'. It looks like glass, and shatters very convincingly, but isn't nearly as dangerous. Sorry if I've ruined the magic for you.

Yes, I have-- curiousity overcame me! :) It was good, but Hugh was pretty much the only thing that made it worth watching over. He says himself that he's surprised the show has lasted as long as it has, and it puts a great deal of a strain on him. I like the show, but if cancelling it means seeing Hugh in some new roles set in his native country (especially more with Stephen-- that would be fantastic!) I would certainly see it end. :)

I think its one of the best shows, the writing and storylines are amazing. But i do want hugh laurie to come back to england, and do some stuff over here. Especially with stephen fry. They are one of the best double acts. I dont want house to end though coz i love it, but they should take a year or two year break or something.
