My stomach just dropped. I suddenly remembered/realized I had Rayman Forever for computer. And I loved that damn game. Rayman 2 took of a lot of my childhood time, and I never bought Hoodlum Havoc. I then bought Raving Rabbids thinking it would be like every other game, but with minigames. I kept thinking, "Well, once I get out of this prison, I'm sure that's when the game really starts"...

What was Ubisoft thinking?? Thank God they're making Rayman Origins. I can't wait for it. :D

The Playstation version of Rayman is the most polished version of the game. There were a few levels missing in the gba version and the PC version would loop several pieces of music in one level rather than playing specific music tracks during each level, even later versions Rayman for the pc omitted the music entirely. The Playstation version had the tings actually go ping (rather the pop) when you touch them and even had that victory jingle at the end of each level, it's superb.

The Sega Saturn version seems like the best. It's like the PS1 version, but with better sound. Not much difference besides that.

When I had this game on my pc, there were no sound effects. I got it when I bought this math package thing, I think it was called middleschool math. Anyways, I assume that's why it didn't work, because it was some cheap version that came on the side as a way for parents to explain, well you're going to work but look you can play too!

Me too! My father randomly bought this game once when I was 6, the second platformer I ever played (my first was Captain Claw). I was frustrated by it at certain points, but I did manage to make it to Mr. Skops-- and then found out I had to collect all the cages. Unfortunately, the game somehow got lost. I missed the game so much! Until yesterday, when I found out I was lucky to have a PS3, because this game was on the PS Store! It is slightly different from the PC version, though.

In my opinion, the original is the best. I wasn't too keen on Rayman's transformation in the second game, and the levels were a lot easier on the eye and the music is a lot better in the original. Plus, I have fond memories of watching my dad complete it whilst I struggled in the Forest... good times.

For those saying this is better than all the 3d ones, that's just your opinion onthers think 3d is better. Rayman 2 was the best, the others just sucked especially the ones with the stupid rabbits on the wii they should just kill the series because each new game after rayman 2 just became worst and worst. In fact they should just kill the wii altogether and bring back the rayman series the way it should be. 2-d like this for cell phones and portables and 3-d like the one on the n64 for consoles.
