Even though its based on a real life story, I still want to point out that the film was VERY realistic. The actors did a excellent job of not going overbroad with it because usually with this kind of story line, alot of the incidents that take place are exaggerated or taken out of context.
The "I brought you saadam husseins arm" scene was HILARIOUS and that little boy was my favourite character.

This is a fantastic movie and it is my favorite. The trailer is misleading, yeah, but the movie itself is pretty much all truth, nothing really has changed over there, and I feel this movie should encourage preferbly Westerner's to not be selfish and keep the innocent people who suffer these horrendous conditions in our thoughts and prays.

Killing Turkish villagers is an act of terrorism.
However not all PKK fighters are terrorists. Some went past my grandmothers village in Kars many many many years ago at night without provoking violence or intimidation.
I don't condone PKK's methods though.
Fighting one of the largest military forces (Turkish) isn't going to solve anything and makes the majority of people view Kurds in a negative way.

AMAZING FILM!
Even though its based on a real life story, I still want to point out that the film was VERY realistic. The actors did a excellent job of not going overbroad with it because usually with this kind of story line, alot of the incidents that take place are exaggerated or taken out of context.
The "I brought you saadam husseins arm" scene was HILARIOUS and that little boy was my favourite character.
PS I was born on the same day as Saadam the bitch and Im Kurdish!

This movie was so sad and it scared me when he saw the girl at the end when he was running. when i was a little kid lol

beautyful made,love it,the cast is brilliant...but i must say AVAZ LATIF(THE GIRL) SHE WAS AMAZING!HER ACTING WAS DEEP YET DISTURBING.I CANT WAIT 2 SEE HER ACTING AGAIN!.

i hated her in the movie because she drowned the litte baby yah i know stuff happen to her but that was so sad i cried at rhat part
