I am an American, America is my Father-land. but Germany is my Mother-land because I was born in her womb. when it come to world cup soccer I cheer for Germany.

i'm real happy that germany reunited, and that it all happened without any shot beeing fired.
couldn't imagine how my life would be if not.
well i'm from west germany, but most of my best friends are from eastern germany
that November 10th, was about to be the happiest day in my life, even if i was just 9 years old that moment.

The Iron Curtain prevented its people from being free to leave.
The US-Mexico border is a wall which stops people getting in who do not want to enter the country via checkpoints with passports & papers which would legally permit them entry for a time of stay.
If Mexicans want to enter the US, all they need is a passport, if they want to work then they can file for a green card.

@lifeismasked I spoke to a couple from Austria who had immigrated to the US. I asked them why, if Switzerland has more guns than the US, is their crime so LOW. The woman responded (in German: ) "because they don't just let every idiot in their country as you do." I think what she meant is that the US has some very lax immigration laws in comparison to nearly the rest of the world ...especially Mexico.
