yes, go as fast as you possibly can and then do a 180. It might help if you can get pulled up to speed by a motorcycle or car. The ideal speed is between 50 and 80 miles per hour. I hope this helps.

You can grind all you want. The only thing you need to really care about is the axle: Make sure whatever freecoaster you get has a one-piece axle. I rode a three-piece axle and broke it in under a month. Since I switched to a one-piece, it hasn't failed in 2 years. I'm also 195lbs./88Kg so it's not like I'm a lightweight either. I recommend any of the hubs that use KHE Geisha internals, such as the KHE Reverse, Federal Freecoaster or Alienation freecoaster.
