Good round, I prefer MMA. I've always loved the ground work, getting in and out of submissions, setting up your opponent, or avoiding being set up by your opponent. Boxing is good, but it has seen its best days behind it. MMA is rising, more entertaining, and fiercer. When your biggest stay (boxing) is doing WWE events, you know your sport is in trouble.

It'd be neat to see Bernard Hopkins fight an MMA fighter; I think he'd knocked the shit out of any 175lbs MMA fighter. Fedor, however, would be tough for anyone to beat.

A boxer probably beats an MMA fighter in a boxing match, but, a boxer doesn't beat an MMA fighter in an MMA match. Not a smart one anyways. It'd be tough to pick who would win right now, it really depends on the rules for the fight. I have heard rumors that Anderson Silva was going to fight a boxer, but Dana White is derailing it because it isn't MMA rules. Personally, I think they should keep the two seperate. No matter who wins it'll always have a "ya, but" stigma around it.

There's no "probably" about it: In a boxing match, a top class boxer would destroy an MMA fighter in every single weight class. The MMA fighters do NOT keep their chins tucked, they lose control during exchanges, and quite a few don't possess strong chins. But with MMA rules, sure there'd be the grappling factor. Still though, I think quite a few boxers are simply tougher. And would knock a lot of those MMA guys out, pretty easily in fact.
