Please forgive me 4 the question: why everybody is having grim face? I believe when we sing lord, we should feel happy of lord presence in our heart and all around us.
I ask this question because, when i am singing lord, sometimes unknowingly i become grid (may be out of the happiness of lord?) . I want to understand.
@vishnukorrapati Different kirtan is expressive of different rasas. I would not describe the faces of these devotees as grim. Much traditional kirtan expresses a profound mood of seperation, heart-ache, extreme tenderness, grief, sweetness or despair. This is Vaishnavism. This is far more subtle than just being generally cheerful and smiling all the time. That's what you have to do if you work for macdonalds!! Hope that helps!! Hari Bol!!
