omg it looks like it hurts bad i think i changed my mine of getting the tummy tuck ill still to my pouch, and your ass backwards your gonna have more kids its just gonna undo the surgeons work.
i need a tummy tuck too my mommy i lost all the weight aswell i just have that wrinkly skin a flap of skin and it has lost it elasticity :'-(.... this is what i need but how much do i need to save for this? ? how much is it?
Although I work on a surgical team, I am well aware that cosmetic surgery will have a short shelflife on Obamacare. Enjoy your tummy tucks and liposuctions.....it will all go away unless you are megawealthy.
@sabrosura78 You obviously don't know anything! A diastasis CANNOT be fixed by exercise, only surgery. And the extra loose skin will also not go away with exercise. Don't talk about something you know nothing about. A tummy tuck is not used for weight loss - she lost all th weight BEFORE the tummy tuck. I am having one for the same reason and I have lost all the weight and work out at least 12 hrs a week so obviously you know nothing.
@nokiannie I just had my TT 18 days ago, I've had 7 Major operations prior to this, it did not put me at a higher risk, also, this was by far the easiest surgery I've ever recovered from. hope that helps.
@FreakMagnet66 Thanks a lot for that ive got till october to think about it ..But i do know this scar down my stomache is bugging me and i hate to look at it at least if its moved to bikini line will be easier to accept im just worried about afterwards like bowel obstrutions n things .
I have watched your videos over and over and have enjoyed watching your transformation, both emotionally and physically. You have helped me so much! I am scheduled for my TT on July 1st!! So excited!!!
@wyatt5550 and you live in a perfect world. Once the skin has been stretched to the point of tearing deep layers and the muscle has separated, you can't just exercise it back into place. This surgery also consist of Muscle Repair. Educate yourself before you make ignorant comment like this.
@wyatt5550 She had three, a single birth and twins. Serious exercise can fix some things, it can't fix muscle damage and skin that doesn't bounce back, I don't mean to be so harsh and I apologize for being so bitchy in my previous comment but people who get Tummy Tucks are constantly judged by other's without taking into consideration the reason the TT is being performed. I weighed 104# wore a size 4. The only thing that could fix the excess skin and separated muscle was surgery.
Thank you so much for posting all this i'm getting a lower body lift myself and this helped me a lot... I'm even making my own lil update thingy on you tube lol
You look beautiful! I got teary eyed watching the nurse take off your dressing, and you seeing your stomach for the first time. I really appreciate the time and detail you put in this video. I am having a tummy tuck in 4 weeks and so excited, and know it's going to be worth it. You are an inspiration, and loved the pics of you at your goal weight. It gives met HOPE! Hope you and your family are well. Thanks for sharing.
@gariisbored How come no one is willing to even talk about even a "ballpark" figure? If a person gets their hopes up to have it done and then finds out that it will take until they are 88 to save up the money... that would be a huge downer! A "ballpark" figure, for the whole process- including stuff we couldn't know would be necessary, would at least give a person a chance to be realistic about wether or not it is possible for them to even begin the process. I would like to see some numbers! :)
@janenoora This is probably late but a full Tummy Tuck includes corseting the muscles, which means-think about your abdominal wall (your abdominal muscles) being corseted together, and imagine a baby growing in there and the stretching that would occur could rip your abs in half-literally. There's a partial tummy tuck, which is the removal of the excess skin and fat, they stretch the skin from under your bra line down and they give you a new bellybutton, you CAN easily have children after this.
thank tou for posting this it helps me understand so much more I am so scared I was wasnting to ask you I have my dates for nov 1st 2010 Iam a big baby dont take pain well at all do you think I would make it to my baby girls awards 3 days after and 6 days later to her first concert of justin or will there be way to much pain Iam so scared
@joezannafaith Ooooh, I hope this all worked out for you. I would say 3 days is way too soon to do much of anything. 6 days maybe . . .I hope it all worked out. Good luck and congrats on your surgery!
when i had mine done. on the third day i was walking up the hill, without any pain. my surgeon inserted a negative pressure syringe to suck up all the secretions along my incision line. i only took motrin. then he put me on 7-day course antibiotics. i was wearing a full body elastic wrap to improve my body contour and to resolve the edema (swelling). i love the results. my surgeon was the same man who does surgeries to movie and tv stars in the Philippines. It took me 3 weeks to recover.
thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. it has really helped me to see where I should be at what stage. It's always good to see someone go through what you have. thanks
I have some questions for you if you have time. I know I'm rambling, so I'll get to the questions. 1. When could you stand regular again? 2. Did you have indents on your sides for a long time? 3. I have a burning pain under my breasts did you fell anything like that, and if so when did it go away? 4. when did you really see a lot of weight drop? 5. What did you eat in the first three months? thanks! Andrea

@killedbycupcakes They clip the sutures that hold the drains in place and then pretty much just pull them out! Simple as that! A little painful, but not too bad.

Recovery is still continuing after 7 months. The first 2 weeks were the hardest for me. By 1 month, I was feeling better -- enough to help take care of my toddlers. The pain was at it's worst day 1-5.
i was 240 lbs im 6'5 and now im 200 lbs, im tryign to get yo 170 but i have a ton of strech marks and when i sit down my belly fat looks horribly but when i stand up i look better. idk if im over reactin but im trying to get a six pack and im a guy btw..
