The bass sound is coming from the RP1000 that he is using to give him the different guitar tones.
Really tempted to get one of these units but already i have a GNX3 that has a looper function built into the recorder section.

Is the bass sound also emulated from the pedal as in the drum tone we're hearing?

The bass sound is from the RP1000 unit, and the drum sound is the rhythm guide on the Jamman.
