Is this the 7 yd pistol line at Gateway Rifle and Pistol Club in Jax, FL? I'm a member, and that is either the line I'm talking about, or it has a clone out there somewhere.

I shoot my 9mm XD there when I get a chance. More often than not with the XD you shoot at daylight in the center of the target, more than you shoot the target itself.

You got it that exactly where I was. I usually go to Gun Gallery out of habit, but I think the target are too low there. Bullseye is nice but only been there twice.

Even at GRPC they are a little low for me, so I just slide the cardboard half way down, until my 6" target is at chest level...those frames will hold it steady, and it makes for a little more realistic practice. The 15 and 25 yd are high enough it seems.

I knew that was my gun range when I saw it! I'm only three minute drive from it, so it's a no brainer for me to go there.

In my opinion the 40 has less recoil. But, my friend has a S&W sigma series 40 and it has more recoil than the 45 so I guess you get what you pay for as the xd is twice as much. The xd-m is great

On a scale from 1 to 10 I would have to give it a nine. That's only because the barrel in longer than the one on the.full size 45. I would recommend the xd-m to anyone who wants a full size 40 cal. I'm a little more accurate with the xd-m than the 45. The xd-m also feels better in my hand and its easier to take apart than the 45 as there is not trigger pull.

I also have both of these, and I would give it a 8 or a 9. I am actually going to sell my XD-45 so I can buy the XD M-45 when it comes out.
