  • what a legend thanks simon liz and robin for all the great music and keeping me happy for all those years.

  • One of their early bands were called Garlic. Brilliant band, check them out (totally unbiased recommendation ;) )

  • Interviewer did a bang-up job, here. Excellent questions, easy and comfortable style, natural flow from topic to topic, picked up on Simon's subtle mood shifts and got him to elaborate on the most interesting aspects of running a record label and on some of his personal history as a musician (mostly as it related to the business side), etc. Great work by Mr. Bristow!

  • I get the idea that Liz really fucked over Robin..and Simon. I could be way off.

  • Great interview, great label. Unfortunate leather sofa. Parp!

  • This is how record labels are meant to be run: by people who genuinely love music and aren't in it for the money. All the corporate, fat arsed greedy rats running the majors are destroying creativity and originality by forcing their own agendas down the public's throat. Seek out original bands and support the indie labels and don't buy corporate music!

  • he seems very sad when he talks about the cocteau twins,sad for the end of the experience with them!...

  • Someone paste the laura veirs mention.

    PLEASE!=)

  • Dead on honest bloke. Like him.

  • sounds like my life

  • Great interview... Very honest!

  • very cool piece..so interesting! love this label...

  • Excellent interview... stumbled across this by accident... Well done Cherry Red.

  • What a lovely bloke! Good label too. Big up Cherry Red TV!!!!!
