Jim Thome knows the game well, and hes been on like what, 5 teams now, phillies, rockies, white soxs, dodgers, and whats the team hes on right now, i know he got traded again. but o well. Hes gonna be the next homerun king without steriouds.
used to be a diehard sox fan until we started to lose dye jenks and thome and other old favorites only buerhle and konerko still stay on the team just hope i get tix to maybe see thome hit his 600th when he comes to town
@thefatman469 I'm a sox fan and... I was pretty sad that we had lost Dye, and Thome, but Jenks, he was a great closer before the second half of last year. Right now, I don't miss Jenks.
I was really heartbroken when I learned the Sox were trading Thome, but what else hurts is that Jerome Dye virtually vanished. I have no idea what happened to him and he was an awesome outfielder. Some of his catches were epic. Too bad they gave up Joe Crede but I understand his injuries were a huge issue. I have back problems and have had surgery so if I were Crede I would retire. I don't understand why Scotty Pods was traded either. The Sox have fucked themselves. Still have Paul and AJ tho!

and that kid from Cuba that they got last year, he is 20 years old his name is Viciedo. That kid hits Homers in cuba and he plays any position. He is really good
My dad said that paulie was next to leave with dye also. I like dye but we need a better out players. Also get a faster right field. CQ Is really SLOW
Thome was amazing, saw this coming. I was hoping they would get rid of Dye too (another player i like a lot) but i dont think there gonna sign him, or resign Thome so i wanted them to get players for them. The Sox need a 2nd basemen Nix Gets and Lillibridge had their season and failed. Id say move alexei back to 2nd Beckham back to his natural Shortstop and find another 3rd basemen or keep everyone where there at and get a 2nd basemen. then Rios Right, Pods, Center, Left C.Q.. Sox gonna get Hot!
most scouts say that Gordon Beckham isn't that great of a defensive SS anyway. He's probably better at 3rd where he gets less action. He's been doing good at 3rd anyway, why change it?? And I wouldn't give up on Nix or Getz yet. They are ROOKIES. They will get better, Alexei will get better at short too. He just needs to keep his focus and he'll be fine.
Im not saying get rid of Nix and Gets like release them im saying Get a proven 2nd baseman like Brandon Phillips, Dan Uggla, Ian Kinsler, Zobrist (not gonna mention the impossibles like Pedroia Cano Roberts) . But Seriously When Alexei was at 2nd base he was amazing. Even Hawk gets frustrated when he makes dumb mistakes on simple plays, and ive seen Paulie make a lot of saves for him. All's i no is that when Alexei was at 2nd he was a Monster.
