One of my favourite Movies. Great actors, great music, great story. Holly Hunter has so much expression in her eyes. You know what she thinks and what she feels without saying a word. Here eyes and her piano are enough.

What a crunchingly awkward juxtaposition that was. "One of the most enchanting love stories ever filmed." Followed by "Erotic..." Was David Ansen suffering severe writer's block that day? But I can't deny him that the part where the piano is stranded on the beach was rather damn sexy.

Very good movie. The little kid that played in this movie, Anna Paquin, won an oscar for it when she was 11, which makes her the second youngest in the award history. If you like this movie, go watch the atonement as well, which has similar story line and brilliantly made at the same time.
