where is the NEAREST point where you can see a launch?? I am going on may,12 to see STS-132 Atlantis liftoff, and i really want to be at the nearest place as possible; so, does somebody knows something? PLEASEE i need to know as soon as possible
Nice job. I watched STS-119 launch from Titusville. I think the view from the North is just as exciting as the optical illusion of the fireball getting closer and closer and then it climbs into the heaven. I;m in Jacsonville and its 2:00am on February 7. I am about to drive down to watch STS-130 from either St Augustine, Flagler Beach or maybe New Smyrna depending on the weather.
By far the best video I've ever seen of a shuttle launch- beautiful setting creates a perfect mixture of technology and nature. Nice camera work-no zooming in and out. You should have a lot more views.
@sawyergarpy. thanks :) my (now) wife will be flattered as she did the camera work. Yes, my one and only space shuttle launch was very amazing...the moment sticks in my mind clearly to this day and probably always will
Great work, and from so far away! That rocks!
