Unfotunantly it's a little difficult. It's all in programming. If your computer savy go to modmymoto and learn from there. If not go back to your service provider and tell them you are leaving the country and want to unlock your phone for foreign sim cards. That sometimes works.

This phone is a UK version phone so it came with a stereo wired headset. If you buy a US version from AT&T or T-Mobile the wired headset is mono-one speaker.

Bluetooth was on. I just didn't have the headset in the video. At the time a Motorola H3 and Nokia BH-900 was used.

The video is very good. Since it has a true 2.0mp camera the videos and pictures come out alot smoother than most 1.3mp cameras. 0.7mp make alot of difference. I will have a video up in a day or two.

Yes, go to a motorola modify site called modmymoto. You will need to get flashback so you don't brick your phone (it's $10). get the lastest firmware from UK and add a different theme that has your specifications you want.

It's ok, It seems the UK firmware is always updated before ours. firmware is firmware. whatever language pack you install or already installed is going to be default. you can download Malaysian firmware and still be OK.

the 5300 doesn't have a flash for the camera or video. it helps alot.

it comes down to do you like nokia or motorola. the specs are almost identical. the rizr has a better camera than the 5300 and more internal memory. my freind has found there is more support for motorola than nokia, especially for modding the phone.

no, not yet just for t-mo. Cingular is coming at a different approach for the 3g service. The RIZR doesn't have that feature.
