When this came out I was a 'kid' and thought the video footage was real - "wow, they must be huge in Europe or something." Or, "Adults must like this band." Amazing video, amazing song.
I don't know about that one man, I'd say to say Polvo is an overall more versatile band, I love both but I'd say they're in slightly different realms of music as well.

I prefer Polvo, but love both.
I think Polvo has a bit more range. But it is just an opinion.

I love Polvo too, but there's something else about Chavez, i think they're a bit more poppish to me, and certainly more addictive...
