im mad as hell cuz my fav. of all iz da 1 icant find nor kop nowhere thats b.n.p..Luv yall n@#$az.Das Efx iz my fav duo(after p&e).Got all they albums 2.WOW!CANT HERE NOTHIN BUT THE MUSIC(IM SLIPPIN)!EPMD,RAKIM,BDP,KGR,KANE,LYTE...this iz my era.THIS IS HIP HOP.Notthis foolishness. This foolishness got 2generations FOOLED!All i do iz knock hardcore,RUFF,RUGGED,RAW&REALISTIC.Im about to let yall go,but b4 i do i will say thank u 4 enabling me.ONE
@c8udyp Truthfully, this whole album was poorly engineered. Boondox sounds even worse. But damn...the beats were knocking like a muthafucka. Props to E-Double on the boards.
@desertdetroiter Perhaps It's not poorly engineered if it's deliberate(not to mention that it's also a reflection of the production of tools of the time and therefore senseless to judge it by the standards of today's overlycompressed corporate music.)
EPMD were major-label successes that maintained a lo-fi,underground sensibility--and it was reflected in E's production values.
@danw1374 Mine too. Definitely the best track on the album. I used to rewind the fuckin' tape so many times on this track that i probably had to buy 4 or 5 tapes...that's back when a nigga couldn't WAIT to get the newest releases. I can't love hip hop like that anymore...but i wish i could.
Who's better than EPMD? They got the eternal style, that neva change!

Still a great song. I wish they'd re-master this thing, the recording was muddy and atrocious.
